Our client is a managed services organisation based in the Surrey region. Together, we are recruiting for two IT Schools Engineers on a permanent basis to operate predominantly on site in Croydon but also covering sites in the Redhill and Caterham region ocassionaly.

General duties include:

  • To ensure anti-virus updates and Microsoft Security updates are kept current on schools network
  • To provide general maintenance, troubleshooting and technical housekeeping of networks and peripheral devices
  • Maintain each school’s network, including management of daily backups, anti-virus tools and software licences

To Qualify:

  • Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Switches, DHCP & DNS)
  • Active Directory, Group Policy and Server builds and configurations management
  • Mobile technology (tablets & smartphones using Android & IOS

Advantageous skills:

  • Windows Server 2012-16 Administrative experience
  • SQL Server Maintenance - Triggers/Stored/Procedures
  • Experience with CiscoMeraki and WatchGuard products
  • VMware or Hyer-V and Veeam- Backup
