Overview:
We are looking for an IT Technician Apprentice [Network pathway] to join our growing team.

Salary:
£18,000 - £20,000 per annum. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide technical support to customers both internal and external through a range of communication channels 
  • Establish and diagnose ICT problems/faults using the required troubleshooting methodology and tools 
  • Interpret technical specifications relevant to the ICT tasks 
  • Undertake relevant processes using CAD, Google docs/sheets, and occasionally programs such as Sage 
  • Apply appropriate testing methodologies to hardware or software or cabling assets 

What we are looking for: 
Successful candidates will have: 

  • Hands on experience of electronic assembly / manufacture / test
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for IT, networking, and technical design

Entry requirements: 

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject 
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above) 
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject 

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
