Role: IT Network Manager
£60,000 - £70,000
Location: Croydon, York OR Cardiff (Hybrid)
An opportunity has emerged to join a growing team at an Insurance company!
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for designing and implementing a resilient, secure and robust, high performing data network for the UK.
- Monitoring Network Performance and make improvements as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Network Issues, acting as the lead on all network outages through to resolution.
- Effective, accurate and timely management of the DNS records for the Group, including the migration of domains and DNS records from acquired businesses.
- Implementing and managing an IPAM solution across the UK data network
- Define ongoing performance and technology improvements as the subject matter expert for our data network. Keep up to date with ongoing developments within the technology stack, providing recommendations for improvements both technological and procedural. Develop effective relationships with all 3rd party IT suppliers for connectivity and networking infrastructure.
- Identification of key performance indicators, regular reviews of performance against any set KPI's and regular reporting against agreed service levels.
- Ensure all agreed SLAs are met, both internally and externally, and ensuring any breaches, failures or incidents are escalated and managed appropriately.
- Monitoring and reporting on service performance and trend identification, provide recommendations on any remedial activity or required improvement plans.
- Cost management activity to track, monitor and report spend against agreed budgets and informing reforecasting activity in line with demand levels.
