IT Manager - Kings Lynn 

£40,000 - £48,000 per annum 

I am very pleased to be working with a Manufacturing client in Kings Lynn that's looking for an IT Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Over the past 5 years the CEO has been the 'go to' for Senior IT queries and issue but now is the time to hire an experienced Technical Manager that can bring positive change to the business. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Management and availability of the IT Infrastructure 
  • Develop and manage the IT budget 
  • Ensure security and compliance 
  • Oversee IT Projects 
  • Line manage a Team of two Technicians 
  • Identify and mitigate risks, for example, data breaches, system failures, etc
  • Make Board recommendations/suggestions on how to bring IT forward - having a Consultative approach

  • Infrastructure Management  

Essentials needed for the role:

  • Relevant industry knowledge - manufacturing/electrical 
  • Team management experience 
  • ERP applications 
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Cyber security basics 
  • Effective communication - keeping all parties in the loop 

What you'll receive: 

  • A salary up to £48,000 - potential for flexibility depending on experience 
  • Bonus - discretionary without a specific figure here (have hit this every year for the past 15) 
  • A chance to make a positive difference and move forward both personally and professionally
  • Hours between 8-4.30 Monday - Thursday & 8 - 12.15 on Fridays 

This role is an onsite position with no opportunity for flexible working given the industry, so if you're not looking in Kings Lynn then this isn't for you.
