IT Manager
3-Month Initial Contract – Outside IR35
£350.00 - £500.00/day Depending on Experience

Absolute Recruit is currently supporting a growing EdTech start-up in central London that is searching for an IT Manager on an initial 3-month contract. The IT Manager will need to have a good grasp of ISO 27001 and a solid understanding of GDPR policies while remaining hands-on technically and supporting a range of SaaS-based systems.

The IT Manager will support some of the following technologies:
  • Office 365 & Google Workspace
  • Salesforce
  • Slack
  • Okta
  • MDMs for both Windows and macOS
Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud (GCP) would be a distinct advantage
As the IT Manager, you will have line management over 1 engineer and be involved in guiding and mentoring them on a day-to-day basis. You will need to work autonomously and build a number of relationships internally with other departments and technical staff.

Previous experience of working in a SaaS-based environment or a B2C/E-commerce business would be highly desirable. Any recognized security qualifications would also be desirable, i.e., CISSP, CISM, CSSLP.

WFH Policy: The client offers a remote-first approach, although the IT Manager will need to be flexible enough to visit the Head Office on an ad-hoc basis for relevant meetings.

Buzzwords: IT Manager, SaaS, Information Security, ISO27001, GDPR, Office 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Google Cloud, Slack, Windows, macOS
