Zachary Daniels are partnering with a Luxury Retail Buisness looking for a new and dynamic IT Manager. This business has huge global reach and is recognised for precision, beauty and craftsmanship. This is a really exciting time for the business with huge growth planned for 2024/2025.

The IT manager will play a pivotal role in this as processes, software and hardware will need to be updated, maintained and developed to help support this growth. Innovation and motivation are what will make this new IT Manager and their team shine.

This role is a London office based role but will require monthly site visits across UK & Ireland

Reporting directly into the Managing Director and with a team of 5 the IT Manager will with accountable for the following and more:

  • Manage the team for Infrastructure & Operation, Application Services, Retail Services, Digitalisation and Business Intelligence
  • Hold regular meetings with the IT staff to review strategic goals and initiatives promote team building and work to provide growth paths for staff.
  • Communicate with the IT employees the job expectations; coaching, counselling, disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
  • Digital technological research by studying organisation goals, strategies, practices and user projects.
  • Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
  • Evaluate organisation outcomes; identify and resolve problems related to network infrastructure, hardware components, operating systems.
  • Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation to develop solutions.
  • Keep local IT documentation updated (IT inventories, charts, contracts, user manual, etc)
  • Keep projects roadmap updated and discuss project priorities with management.
  • Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Implement disaster recovery and back-up procedures, information security and control structures.
  • Establish and enforce organisation standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively communicate technology, infrastructure and process needs and requirements with all personnel levels; oral and written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work with multiple levels of staff.
  • Core competencies: Attention to details, Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), excellent customer service skills.
  • SAP knowledge

In return the Business are looking to offer a Salary Package totalling around £75,000 (OTE) + benefits and incentives
