Overview of the role purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven IT Integrations Analyst to become part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the integration of acquired businesses into our existing IT Target Operating Model. Reporting to the Head of IT Integrations, the IT Integrations Analyst will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of integrated entities, aligning technology system, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Due Diligence:

  • Collaborate with the Head of IT Integrations to complete the IT due diligence process for prospective acquisitions, collaborating with Vendors and Suppliers as required. 
  • Assess the target's IT systems, data, and technologies to identify potential integration opportunities, risks, and challenges.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate the technology assets, contracts, and architecture of potential acquisition targets.

Integration Planning:

  • Develop integration plans and strategies for acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and objectives.
  • Create, own and drive detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments, to guide the integration process and ensure these are kept fully up to date at all times.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define integration objectives, requirements, and deliverables.

Data and Systems Integration:

  • Work closely with the Solutions Architect and IT Integrations team to design and implement the integration of acquired businesses' IT systems, data, and technologies.
  • Ensure the seamless transfer of data, applications, and systems while maintaining data integrity and system functionality.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that support data migration, transformation, and synchronisation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with stakeholders from acquired businesses to understand their IT systems, processes, and requirements.  Function as a liaison between integrated entities and the organisation, facilitating open communication and ensuring the alignment of technology systems.
  • Foster strong relationships with business units and staff to address concerns and build support for integration efforts.

Project Execution:

  • Monitor and track the progress of integration projects, ensuring that they are executed according to the defined project plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address issues, challenges, and roadblocks that may arise during the integration process.
  • Assist in managing project budgets and resource allocations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to integration activities, including project plans, status reports, and change requests.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports for senior management on the progress of integration projects.
  • Contribute to lessons learned documentation for continuous improvement in integration processes.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct quality assessments to ensure that integrated systems and processes meet predefined standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Support post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of integration initiatives.

Compliance and Security:

  • Collaborate with the IT Service Delivery Team to ensure that integrated systems meet security requirements and compliance standards.
  • Address security and compliance concerns and work on solutions to mitigate potential risks.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies for integrated entities.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in IT integrations, preferably in a corporate environment involving multiple acquisitions.
  • Strong knowledge of integration processes, data migration, and IT systems alignment.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions to integration challenges.Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project requirements.
