Salary: up to £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: 3 days onsite in Croydon but they would prefer if you were fully onsite
Working Hours: 40 hour working week
Contract: Permanent

A client is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Manager who will own the planning, designing, implementation, operation and support of a large company's technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities for the IT Infrastructure Manager:

• Travel to 2 other UK sites twice a year and India once or twice a year - the business will pay for this
• Leading an in-house team and third parties across architecture, security, engineering, delivery and support
• Defining, agreeing with the Head of IT and then owning an infrastructure strategy which is aligned with the wider IT and business strategies
• Owning and validating the roadmap for infrastructure services, ensuring all solutions provide the required level of availability, performance and security
• Overseeing the delivery of the infrastructure initiatives plan, ensuring all infrastructure projects are delivered within the pre-agreed parameters of time, cost, scope, risk, quality and benefits
• Ensuring all colleague infrastructure support tickets are resolved/fulfilled in line with SLA and colleague satisfaction targets, following agreed ITSM processes
• Ensuring effective DR/BCP plans exist to deliver the required RPOs and RTOs for all infrastructure services, including regular testing
• Managing the OPEX and CAPEX budgets for infrastructure services, seeking opportunities to optimise operational costs where possible

Essential Skills for the IT Infrastructure Manager:

• Team management
• Microsoft licensing
• Leading enterprise scale infrastructure transformation, including planning, designing and building solutions that are aligned to strategic objectives
• Nutanix
• Other technical experience - networking, cloud, server etc
• Cyber security awareness
• Soft skills - strong communicator, team player, take responsibility & independent

Desirable Skills for the IT Infrastructure Manager:

• Any relevant certifications
• Industry experience - MSP, Consultancy, Retail or Warehousing
• Linux
• Arcserve
