We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and confident team player to join us to lead an existing infrastructure and desktop support team. You will be very hands-on and will work on the latest technologies in a fast-paced business environment in a rapidly expanding company.

Leading telecommunications solutions provider with offices in 5 locations around England. We are a multi-award winning and fast-growing business with ever increasing IT requirements offering exciting technical challenges and career opportunities.

You will be providing design, installation, configuration and monitoring services for our IT infrastructure hardware comprising:
" Virtual and Physical servers (Dell)
" Storage Array (NetApp)
" Core & Edge Switches (Cisco Nexus & Catalyst)
" Backup & Replication (NetApp & Veeam)
plus, our software stack comprising:
" VMware
" Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2)
" Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Azure

Very strong knowledge and hands-on experience of System Administration for Windows, Exchange & SQL servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, RDS, in addition to VMware and Veeam is essential. Excellent understanding of networking principles such as subnetting and routing, VLANs, QoS, and VoIP plus experience with firewalls and security.

As well as supporting our infrastructure, you will be an escalation point for our busy helpdesk function which supports around 250 users across five UK sites, using a mix of Windows 7 & 10, Microsoft Office and other standard business applications, on a combination of desktops, laptops and mobile devices.

This role requires you to work closely with all levels of the organisation from Board to end user, so you should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills delivering excellent customer service. You should possess a natural initiative and pro-activeness to your work ethic, be open to new ideas and have a positive outlook. A willingness to work additional hours, out of hours and at weekends when required is essential as and you will part of the on-call rota.

You will be based at our Head Office in Dummer, near Basingstoke, but will also need to travel to and work from any of our group offices on a regular basis. A full driving license is essential.

Salary - 40k + Plus company car
