EAC are representing a Market Leading Organisation in Milton Keynes who are on the lookout for an IT Engineer to work onsite at one of their Key Clients. The role requires someone who can drive as travelling will be involved.

If you are experienced in 1st and 2nd Line support and are looking for a new long-term role then please get in touch. You will need to be confident in working independently to resolve IT issues and queries.

Salary up to £32,000 (DOE)

Duties for the IT Engineer

  • Providing first and second line IT support to clients via phone, email or in person
  • This role will be 60% office based and 40% out on the road
  • Calling out to site if the issue can’t be fixed remote
  • Carrying out IT support requests onsite
  • Managing ownership of a ticket from start to finish
  • Perform routine system software updates
  • Maintain accurate records on the internal system
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Flexible to travel if and when required (minimal)

Ideal IT Engineer

  • Excellent PC problem solving skills
  • Proven experience in a similar IT role
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot and maintain a variety of Windows Server
  • Strong Communication over the phone when dealing with Clients
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management
  • Full UK Driving License
