Job Title: IT Field Technician

Salary: up to £30,000

Our client is looking to expand their tech team and are looking for a 1st / 2nd Line Field Technician to support various schools around Stockport / South Manchester area. When you are not out on the road you can work from home!

Essential: You must have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

• Active Directory / Group Policy
• DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
• Windows Server 2012 - 2022
• Windows 10 & 11
• Microsoft Office 365
• Wireless Infrastructure

Day-to-day:

• Provide IT Support to staff and students amongst different schools
• Software & hardware installs
• Update, maintain administrate Windows Server and workstation software
• Recommend cost effective IT solutions to clients, liaising with staff to organise quotes
• Maintain Schools IT Infrastructure and equipment including administering switches, routers
• Write step-by-step reports, process paperwork, conduct audits
