Would you like the chance to provide 1st line support at an International School? This role will suit an IT graduate with some work experience or if you just enjoy working in IT and have some good technical knowledge this may appeal to you too.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assisting and offering 1st line / helpdesk support to users including installing and updating software, and preparing training sessions for users.
Operating Zmanda, Ghost.. to maintain both the services and hardware used on a daily basis by the lT department .
Assisting with projects - executing implementations on a local level
Prepare and update hardware inventory
Manage consumables - toners, projector lamps etc
Supporting the maintenance of existing AV equipment
Coordinating room bookings for VC's and AV equipment
Assisting with installations of the telephone system
General VC, AV, Phone, IT assistance regarding events
Support Academic staff, students and Programme office on a daily basis with IT issues they may be experiencing
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level in IT related subject or equivalent experience
- Experience of 1st line support / helpdesk
- Experience of setting up for events in terms of AV, VC and IT
- Ability to use own initiative and sophisticated interpersonal skills
- Patient and calm when dealing with people
