Come and join us on a National Trust apprenticeship where we will support and develop you to play an integral part in our work to tackle climate change, protect historic sites and help people and nature thrive. You don’t need experience for this role, just loads of enthusiasm and a desire to learn.

As an IT Apprentice, you will be working with a specific team of up to 7 members, learning from and assisting in a number of different areas, as well as having the opportunity for placements with other IT teams to gain relevant experience aligned to your Apprenticeship’s knowledge, skills and behaviours. You will be helping to find innovative solutions to challenges and supporting our colleagues to deliver their work.

We are looking for IT Solutions Technical Level 3 Apprenticeships to join our Hosting and Salesforce CRM teams. The Hosting apprentice will gain experience and provide assistance with technical operations within the Azure Cloud infrastructure, environments and products. The Salesforce/CRM apprentice will gain experience and provide assistance to the Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Database solutions.  

The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic and keen to learn about performing a technical and IT operational role. They will be able to demonstrate problem solving skills, a good communicator working with our third party suppliers and stakeholders, and has awareness of GDPR and Data Protection They have a basic knowledge about IT Technology Governance standards and can demonstrate basic ICT skills (Windows, Office 365 products/Mac products, Apps). They are keen to develop their understanding about the significance of testing as they will be required to support user or operational acceptance testing as required.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside your mentor on tasks specific to your apprenticeship, you will develop the skills & knowledge relevant to this apprenticeship standard.  (IT Solutions Technician level 3)

You’ll attend, and prepare for, regular review meetings with your training provider, and be accountable for your own progression. You’ll be required to complete mandatory e-learning, courses and training provided/

Can lead to an IT entry level role upon completion and/ or potentially further study at level 4.

Who we're looking for In addition to the qualities listed in the role profile, we’d love to hear from you if you meet the following eligibility criteria by the start date of the role:
·      A minimum of 5 GCSE’s which must include English and Maths at grade C/4, functional skills level 2 or equivalent
·      Aged 16 or over and have completed year 11
·      Not in full time education
·      Living in England & have the right to work in the UK
·      Able to travel to work location The package
