My esteemed client, based in the heart of Manchester, is on the hunt for an ambitious and dynamic IP Administrator specializing in Patents to join its forward-thinking team. Reporting to the Records Manager, you will play a crucial role in case management support. This includes documenting events, issuing timely reminders, maintaining current case records, and verifying that all relevant fees have been accurately applied.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate applicable correspondence to send to IPOs, associates, and clients
  • Use case management system and related applications -DMS, Portal, Outlook etc
  • Handle communications and correspondence received from IPOs, associates, and clients
  • Check, record, and update event changes in case status
  • Instruct, or arrange payment of official fees
  • Monitor deadlines, liaise with attorneys, IPOs, associates, and clients

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in IP
  • Good IT skills (M.O.)
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • A highly motivated and proactive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
