Invoice Finance Business Development Manager - Scotland

My client is a leading independent Commercial Finance lender with an established presence in Scotland and England. With strong financial backing, they have a real appetite to lend money and work closely with SMEs across all different sectors to help provide a fast, flexible and tailored solution suited each individual cashflow need. The business has a market-leading SME focused proposition and can offer a full range of different business finance products and can provide a structured finance offering alongside stand alone commercial products.

Due to growth, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their successful Invoice Finance team. You will be responsible for covering Scotland, working with new and existing brokers and other introducers to generate, assess and close new Invoice Finance opportunities. You will be expected to manage your own diary and will involve face to face meetings and attending networking events.

Responsibilities of the Invoice Finance Business Development Manager:

• To meet agreed personal new business targets
• To handle all new business enquires professionally and diligently and within a timely manner.
• Effectively manage sales and documentation process to make sure the customer experience is great
• Ensure the wider sales team are generating new business PFI in line with targets
• To maintain a strong commercial awareness of the local industry and SME markets, including relationships with brokers and other introducers.
• Ensuring customers are treated fairly and in accordance with standards and high levels of service are maintained to both internal and external customers.

Requirements of the Invoice Finance Business Development Manager:

• To build and manage professional introducer relationships and act as their primary point of contact within the lender.
• Have experience working within Invoice Finance.
• Established network of introducers in Scotland.
• Good credit skills to assess new business and prepare credit papers.
• Team working and strong stakeholder management skills
