Our Client - Debt Finance Director Our client are a highly successful debt fund, they work with innovative and high-growth UK SMEs, accelerating their growth by providing bespoke growth capital and working capital facilities. They have lent more than 1bn since inception and have grown significantly with offices across the world. We are now seeking an outstandingly well-networked and focused deal originator with the enthusiasm and energy required to seek out the best UK term debt opportunities. This person will lead the origination and execution of credit lines from 2 million to 10 million across multiple sectors. As well as supporting a wide range of organic growth projects, the funding lines are used for growth capital, M&amp;A transactions and refinancing. The business are currently on their fifth fund with 200m of committed capital to support SMEs across the UK. Debt Finance Director

JOB TITLE: Recoveries Loan Specialist LOCATION: London ROLE OVERVIEW: The Recoveries Loan Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of recovery clients and providing support and advice to the Account Management team in working with delinquent customers. The role will be responsible for identifying and proposing work out strategies and managing through to successful completion, working with third party industry professionals (lawyers, insolvency practitioners, debt collection agencies) where appropriate. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for litigation action and will take the lead in all delinquent collection activity. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts and accounts in a workout/recovery scenario. This will involve proposing and agreeing strategies along with managing those strategies through to completion; Working closely with the Account Management team to resolve delinquent accounts, overseeing a watchlist of higher risk facilities, taking responsibility for actioning the breach and litigation processes and reporting to the Portfolio Director on case progression; Working independently to build trust and negotiate repayment solutions with customers, monitoring repayment plans, liaising with insolvency practitioners and instructing legal proceedings where required; Building, developing and managing the relationship with a panel of approved Solicitors, Valuers and Insolvency Practitioners; Completing site visits to distressed clients completing a review and assessment of the current position and where necessary consider an appropriate work out plan; Proposing robust recovery strategies to the Portfolio Director and wider Management team; Identifying emerging risks within the portfolio; Ensure that identified risks are categorised accordingly and have active, regularly reviewed strategies in place to remedy the risks; React to and anticipate regulatory changes impacting lending; developing contingency plans and strategic responses to change; Ensuring that fees and recovery income and expense is in line with our Policies; Continually evaluate, through industry knowledge, market conditions and evaluate potential emerging risks based on a portfolio of active clients KEY SKILLS: Good knowledge of financial products and operations An ability to make robust and commercial credit decisions An ability to understand and robustly challenge financial and operational information Ability to identify key risk issues that may impact on the recovery of assets funded Understanding of recovery processes preferred to maximise recovery Demonstrate successful communication with internal and external customers at all levels face to face, telephone and email Ability to engage and build relationships with senior management across all areas of the business SALARY AND BENEFITS: Competitive salary 28 days annual leave (not including bank holidays) Discretionary bonus

Recoveries Loan Specialist 

Our client is a well established commercial finance lender who are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager within their Export Trade Finance team. The focus of the role is to convert generated leads, calling the client and providing expert market products that match the lending requirements. Full training will be provided and previous sales experience is essential. The role is suitable for a self-starter who is highly motivated, enjoys working in a target driven environment and has experience of Financial Services into the commercial market. You will also need to have a proven record in sales. The role will require you to manage your own diary with the occasional team meeting. Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager: Close leads that have been provided, creating a strong relationship with prospects. Build and maintain new and existing professional working relationships from a variety of lenders and act as a primary contact for new business. Manage and progress all new business enquiries and prepare / submit new business files to credit committee, ensuring that they meet our credit policy and contain all information required, allowing the underwriter(s) to assess the proposal quickly and accurately. Assist the Operations team and others to ensure the smooth transition of prospects to clients. Maintain up to date introducer records, ensure that all prospect enquiries are properly recorded and progressed. Contribute ideas and positive suggestions at regional sales meetings to ensure continual development and product development. Achievement of lending targets whilst ensuring that new business quality standards are acceptable and maintained. Requirements of the Business Development Manager: 18 months' proven experience in a sales focused role Banking/Finance background ideal but not essential Strong relationship management skills Strong commercial awareness Why Should You Apply?
