Investment Analyst

Paris or Madrid

A rare opportunity to join the Investment team of a European financial services company. As a Senior Analyst you’ll join a dynamic team with a wide range of responsibilities focused on adding value to the Group’s activities, primarily in the UK but also across Europe.

Key Accountabilities

  • Valuation of investment opportunities
  • Drafting and presenting recommendations
  • Analyse and report on the performance of portfolios
  • Work with the wider Investment Team to deliver pricing projects
  • Work with Decision Science to enhance pricing models
  • Manage end to end process of acquisitions
  • Support project planning and migration plans

Candidate Experience

  • Strong background in Banking / Financial Services or high value project / investment appraisals (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong degree in a mathematical/analytical related discipline or equivalent
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyse and extract information from large data sets
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical/modelling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Fluency in English (other European languages an advantage)
  • Able to work on own initiative and confident to take responsibility
  • A technical ability using software (SQL or other coding languages) - desirable
