Bell Cornwall Recruitment is proud to represent a leading investment firm in their search for an Investment Administrator in Birmingham. This role offers a unique opportunity to support two successful Investment Managers in one of the most dynamic teams in the industry. If you're seeking a role that combines rigorous administrative responsibilities with the chance to grow in the financial services sector, this position could be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support and Administration: Provide crucial support to Investment Managers, handling a diverse client portfolio that includes private clients, professional clients, IFAs, and charitable organisations. Manage all associated administrative duties, including account management and client communication.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain precise documentation and compliance, focusing on "Know Your Client" information and CRM system accuracy. Prepare client records, fact-find forms, and suitability letters.
  • Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for client and intermediary inquiries, managing calls, taking messages, and ensuring effective communication.
  • Report and Presentation Preparation: Create detailed reports and PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and internal use.
  • Event and Marketing Support: Organise materials for marketing events and client communications, including quarterly updates and holiday greetings.
Key Criteria:
  • Proactive Team Player: Capable of supporting a busy team, prioritise tasks and manage a high-volume workload with accuracy.
  • Willingness to Learn: Open to developing new skills and knowledge, with potential for pursuing professional qualifications.
  • Strong IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of interdepartmental processes and operational needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both client and internal communications.
