Do you hold a subject specialism? Are you confident to work across Primary and/or Secondary Schools teaching full classes, small groups and one to one? Do you have a passion for helping pupils progress? Then we have just the job for you!
We are currently working with numerous school's across County Durham and Sunderland who are seeking teaching staff who can assist with carrying out intervention groups to help students catch up. We have had an influx of enquiries from Primary and Secondary Schools looking for teacher's who specialise in all National Curriculum subjects including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE etc...Some of these roles are full time and some are part time depending on the schools needs, however we would be able to piece together a few schools to fill up your week if it is part time work you require. We are working to build up a pool of intervention specialist staff that we can supply to our schools on a termly basis if not for the full academic year. Schools have informed us they will be expecting some catch up funding to come through at Easter and want to hit the ground running!
To qualify for these roles you must hold a relevant teaching qualification as well as QTS. You must be confident to work with KS1 - KS4 but we can allocate you your preferred age groups if necessary. You must have experience teaching and planning and be confident to work under pressure. Schools will accept applications from candidates who may not hold an official teaching qualification but have experience of private tuition and can provide references to provide evidence of this. We will require two educational based references (NQT Placements will be accepted) as well as an enhanced DBS disclosure.
There are many benefits to working with us including competitive pay rates, cash back incentives for referrals of other staff as well as a dedicated consultant providing you work as and when you would like it.
