POST Recruitment are recruiting for an International Account Director to join our client, an out of home media business, that is on track to become the number one billboard advertising network for brands in the UK. Offering access to a high-quality portfolio of both classic and digital large format billboards across the UK, they are about to embark on a period of rapid expansion, both from a portfolio and personnel perspective. As such, they are looking to recruit an experienced OOH Account Manager/Director to join the newly-formed National Direct sales team.

About the role

The successful International Account Director will take on a broad role which will include building and maintaining professional and profitable relationships with key International brands, specialist agency and independent agency clients. The Account Director will identify business opportunities with international advertisers as well as establish and manage sales deals in order to generate maximum revenue for the company.

The National Direct sales team houses relationships with national direct brands, independent agencies and international clients and is composed of a team of highly experienced account directors, whose role will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Building and maintaining strong, professional and profitable relationships with key international brands, specialist agencies and independent agencies
  • Proactively identifying business opportunities with new and existing advertisers, managing the sales process from start to finish
  • Build compelling and engaging sales presentations to take to market, whilst becoming an ambassador for my client
  • Efficiently managing a sales pipeline, ensuring KPIs are met, forecasts are accurate, and targets are ultimately achieved

Whether you are approaching potential clients, fostering business relationships, identifying opportunities, visiting clients or overcoming objections, it will be your superb communications skills and ability to beat client expectations that increases revenue and contributes to future growth, both personally and for the business.

This role is open to applicants across the UK and will involve working remotely, outside of client meetings and pre-arranged office days.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be recognised as a best practice sales expert within the OOH industry, with the following essential credentials:

  • Strong OOH sales experience (ideally 5+ years, minimum of 3 years)
  • Established contacts within the agency / specialist arena
  • Highly articulate, confident, ambitious and self-motivated
  • Proactive and target-driven, with a can-do attitude
  • Able to demonstrate a legacy of delivering creative solutions Ambition and drive for personal development
