I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join a growing software provider based in Birmingham. This vibrant, expanding organisation are looking for driven and enthusiastic sales people to join their team and support their next phase of growth. Reporting to the SDR Manager, your main job is to find new opportunities and qualify sales leads to pass on to the Business Development Managers. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in business development, you will have excellent communication skills along with the drive to succeed in sales.

This is a remote working role, however travel to the office would be required once a month.

Duties will include:

Maintaining and growing a self-generated pipeline

Researching potential business development opportunities in line with our target market and identify the relevant contact(s) to reach out to.

Carrying out daily reviews of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and following up on Marketing-led campaigns to identify who you’re going to make contact with.

Gaining an understanding of the contact’s business, recent news and likely stakeholders prior to performing outreach activities.

Performing outreach activities including calling, emailing and LinkedIn messaging the earlier identified contact(s).

Building relationships and adding-value whilst gaining an understanding of the challenges faced by the point of contact(s).

Qualifying potential opportunities ready to pass over the relevant Business Development Manager.

Working with the Business Development Managers to create targeted sales campaigns in their territories to support additional growth in revenues.

Answering incoming sales enquiries over the phone in a friendly and professional manner.

Responding to incoming sales emails with a view of setting up a discovery call.

Responding to demo requests submitted via our website, qualifying and passing on leads to the

Recording all activities in the CRM in an accurate and timely manner.

Updating CRM records when you become aware of any changes with contacts/their businesses.

Collating market/competitor trends to be produced/submitted to the Sales Director on a weekly regular basis.
