My client, a major residential property group is looking for an experienced Internal Recruitment Officer / In-House Recruitment Consultant / Resourcing Officer with experience of recruiting in the residential sector within an in-house environment. Without in-house experience, you will not be considered for this role. The role is to recruit a variety of staff for their offices and branches across the UK - though the role doesn't involve much travel across the UK. You will be liaising across the business to assist with advising on recruitment matter, sourcing quality candidates and managing the recruitment process internally.

  • Resourcing Consultant internally within the Residential Property Sector especially Sales and Lettings negotiators.
  • Working in conjunction with the Resourcing Manager to provide proactive, cost effective recruitment advice to a the UK business lines focusing on direct recruiting, utilising LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Working directly with the business, this role will involve advising and supporting recruitment across the businesses offices across the UK
  • Manage designated vacancies and ensure delivery of the end to end recruitment process
  • Ensure roles are filled with the right talent at the right time and at the right cost
  • Retain responsibility for overcoming recruitment challenges and providing pro active recruitment solutions to ensure outstanding delivery
  • Agree and implement methods to successfully source candidates with the potential to utilise and develop direct sourcing methods as well as building strong relations with agencies and search firms
  • Ensure the effective coordination of the recruitment process
  • Development of an enhanced interview processes and procedures, incorporating the core competencies and compliance with employment legislation. In addition ensure a high level candidate experience
  • Manage the communication with the Hiring Managers and candidates/agencies including scheduling interviews, delivering feedback/delivering offers and confirmation of start dates
  • Develop and coach Line Managers in recruitment methods, through both one-to-one coaching and general guidance
  • Build key stakeholder relations within the business line and within HR including the HR Business Partners and People services

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable record of Resourcing experience preferably in the residential property sector
  • Professional services industry and/or multi-site background, an advantage
  • Experience in setting up HR Recruitment policies and procedures
