Interim Service Charge Manager

Robertson Bell Finance are pleased to be working with a growing Housing Association based in Essex to recruit an Interim Service Charge Manager. Lasting for a period of 3-6 months, the role joins the organisation at an exciting time.

Reporting to the Head of Housing, the key duties of the Interim Service Charge Manager include:

* Leading a team of Service Charge Officers to ensure the estimation, calculation and collection of service charges is completed timely and accurately.
* Analyse service charge trends and ensure that any resultant costs are correctly allocated and understand the implications these bring.
* Resolving any service charge issues across the business whilst making service charge information fully understandable to non-finance staff.
* Producing management reports and budgets for key stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will have good experience of service charges and producing management accounts as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills. To effectively lead the team of Service Charge Officers reporting into this role, you will have previous managerial or supervisory experience. Being a qualified accountant will be highly beneficial as will being an advanced user of excel including V-lookups and Pivot tables. You must be immediately available or on a short notice period to be considered for this role.
