Description

  • Manage and oversee the operations within the supply chain and operations department.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations, liaise with key stakeholders to ensure orders are delivered on time.
  • Monitor budget and utilise resources in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure forecasts are accurate to produce a production plan.

Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • A degree in business management, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using SAP is essential.
  • A proven track record of managing operations effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking skills.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £45,000 - £55,000.
  • Remote based role
  • 3 Month Fixed Term Contract Position.
