Interim IT Procurement Transformation Consultant - inside IR35

Cedar are working with a fast paced FTSE 100 company who are looking to hire a driven and ambitious IT Procurement Consultant to join their team, as they continue on their journey of transformation and change. This role will work closely with the exec team in the ICT business unit, to strip out cost and identify areas to deliver immediate impact cash savings. You will present savings opportunities to senior level stakeholders and demonstrate how these will be delivered, along with recommended savings pipeline for the future. Must be a clear and confident communicator with a proven track record of delivering immediate impact cost saving projects within global organisations. A background across a broad range of IT products and services/hardware/software is essential, along with managing multiple projects/stakeholders in this area.

Key areas will be;

• Proven track record of immediate cash savings within IT category on a global level
• Proven experience of IT Commercial Management within the Private Sector - Blue Chip/FTSE
• Commercial acumen and a proven background in delivering cost saving initiatives
• Stakeholder engagement across a range of IT services/products - including Networks/Apps/Hardware/Software
• Effective negotiator - must have gravitas along with energy and drive
• Effective supplier management - negotiating, cost reduction initiatives
• Presenting cost saving opportunities to exec team within ICT business units
• IT transformation within global FTSE/Blue Chip organisations
• Ability to interact and influence senior stakeholders within various internal/external business units
• Delivery of cost efficiency initiatives - identify, present and get buy in from wider business
• Provide procurement savings recommendations to IT exec management team
