Digital Media Agency - Interim Head of Talent - Global SME
This is an independent digital marketing agency with c. 100 people globally - the majority of which are Europe based - with offices in central London. They specialise in a particular market, offering innovative digital solutions to help their customer base stand out from the competition.
Their CFO is hiring for an Interim Head of Talent to be based in London. The Head of Talent will spend c60% / 70% of their time on recruitment and the remainder of their time will be spent on Talent Development and HR matters - this agency does not have a HR Lead but does have a switched on, CIPD qualified HR Advisor. You will manage c10 openings at once and it's expected this number will fall after some key strategic hires have been made. As the Head of Talent you will also partner with the Directors on performance, people development and succession planning. You will work across Europe predominantly and be expected to travel (not often) to the other offices.
The Founders and CFO are looking for a dynamic Head of Talent with a steady CV and clear career progression. They are looking for a personable, credible Talent Lead who has worked for well known brands or promising start up businesses in the creative agency / digital / publishing market - proven experience in a real SME / start up will be well received. They are interested in meeting people who have solid in-house recruitment experience but also have proven experience in generalist HR, or more specifically talent development.
This is an interim role and give time could become permanent for the right person and the budget for the role is set at £70,000 - £77,000. They have a quarterly bonus of c£2,000 on average and an annual bonus in September, as well as private healthcare, life assurance and pension. The business hours are 9am -6pm but it's a grown up environment and there is some flexibility with the hours.
