Reed Finance is pleased to be working exclusively with a wonderful charitable organisation based in King’s Lynn.  This charity is incredibly unique in its offering and prides itself on its strong and dedicated workforce who strive to deliver support near and far.  The Charity is currently in a period of growth and alongside this, is looking to employ a Head of Finance on a part time (2-3 days a week) basis to cover a maternity leave for a period of 12 months.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with the right skills and attitude to join a charity at an exciting time and will take responsibility for the Charity’s day-to-day financial management.  The role offers hybrid working opportunities and a wealth of other benefits aimed at supporting the Charity’s workforce.

Key Duties:

  • Management of the finance function.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
  • Preparation of Monthly Management Reports for Chief Executive & Trustees.
  • Cash management and treasury duties, including credit control.
  • Stock control.
  • Management of Grant income and spending.
  • Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are maintained.
  • VAT and Statutory Accounts
  • Audit work.
