The main responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accounting Manager are as follows:
*Ensure the Statutory Accounts for the main charity and its subsidiaries are being completed in line with the schedule.
*Leading in the preparation of the annual accounts in line with Charity SORP.
*Review the balance sheet reconciliations
*Liaising with the auditors and responding to any queries.
*Managing the financial accounting team.
The successful candidate will be immediately available or on a short notice period and be a qualified accountant. My client is ideally looking for someone from an audit background with some experience out of practice in preparing statutory accountants. However they are also willing to consider strong financial accountants without an audit background but with strong skills in either the commercial or charity sectors.
