Robertson Bell are supporting this organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Officer on a 12-month contract. The head office is based in London, operating on a highly attractive hybrid working pattern – they ask a minimum of one day per week be spent in the office.

The Interim Finance Officer’s main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse and process month end - posting journals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Reconcile the bank accounts and balance sheets.
  • Support with the approval of invoices, ensuring all payments have been posted onto the system accurately, spotting discrepancies and resolving these.
  • Responding to queries and troubleshooting process and control improvements.

The successful Interim Finance Officer must have:

  • Experience working in a similar role with a strong understanding of invoicing and month end.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – being able to answer queries effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience using numerous ERP systems and strong Excel skills, with the ability to use VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and basic formulas.
