Robertson Bell are proud to be working with an impressive public sector organisation as they go out to market for an Interim Assistant Finance Business Partner on a 12-month contract. The sucessful candidate will be able to work on a highly flexible, hybrid working pattern and will only be needed once or twice a month in the office at most! They would also have the opportunity to learn new skills in business partnering and take the next step up in their career! 

The Interim Assistant Finance Business Partners key responsibilities will include;

  • Attending the forecasting meetings on a regular basis where you would gain further exposure to the budget managing process, and look at the variances.
  • Provide financial advice to relevant stakeholders in the organisation.
  • Supporting the Finance Business Partner by developing forecast and supply reports and producing journals

The successful candidate will have;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that they can demonstrate when providing financial advice to various stakeholders.
  • Worked within a public, or not-for-profit sector organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience with debits and credits and posting journals.
  • Experiencing using excel on a regular basis, and be familiar with Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
