Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.

• To take ownership of the efficient running of the backyard, ensuring it is kept clean, tidy and recycling is dealt with in line with the appropriate procedure
• Ensure good communications are maintained within the area and good communications are maintained with other departments and to build good relationships with all areas of the factory as well as with lorry drivers and external suppliers
• To ensure good hygiene and housekeeping practices are maintained at all times in the area, ensuring that the product is handling in a hygienic environment in compliance with Food Legislation and Greencore procedures.
• To actively promote a safety culture in the area and ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met
• To facilitate a continuous improvement environment
• To manage a small team of people ensuring work and breaks are allocated correctly
• Assist Coordinators when necessary.
• Responsible for stock checks on all returnable items, i:e trays, pallets, etc.
• Responsible for waste management i:e organise collections etc.

• Worked in intake or dispatch previously
• Understanding of KPI's
• Flexibility
• Basic excel and computer skills
• People skills, organisational skills, decision making.
• Reliable and `can do' approach.
• Responsible for paperwork
• Most of the tasks are routine tasks.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION

• REQUIRED - B1 Forklift Driving License
