Insurance Claims Handling

My Client, a well established Insurance provider in Sheffield, are looking for a Claims handler to join their busy team.

You will be responsible for managing insurance claims from the First Notification all the way through to its completion.

Responsibilities
*Answer all inbound calls quickly efficiently and courteously, and make all outbound calls relating to claims, FNOL in a prompt and professional manner to agreed departmental standards.
*Take notification of all new claims and consider validity of LEI and other covers on each case and recovery prospects
*Assess and negotiate liability with third parties
*Manage own case load in order to achieve appropriate and efficient outcomes
*Manage and drive the clients claim forwards taking in to account both the client's and the business's needs, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed of any and all developments at all times
*Handle claims on behalf of underwriters in relation to all lines of business from inception to settlement
*Develop a deep understanding of cover available under policies and relevant claims processes for motor and non-motor insurance
