Up to £17,500 depending on experience

Barker Munro Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well established Insurance Company in the West Sussex area who are looking for an Insurance Administrator to join their busy expanding team.

As Insurance Administrator your main responsibilities will be:

  • To provide customers with processing support and query resolution for both new and existing business
  • To provide telephone support in accordance with the guidelines of the Underwriting team principles and procedures
  • Ensure all processing is completed within MID requirements and in accordance with internally agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Provide support to the Broker Response Team Leader by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPIs and SLAs
  • To recognise and report verbal complaints effectively, in accordance with the complaint procedure
  • Understand and comply with FCA, TCF and Data Protection Regulations

To be considered for the position of Insurance Administrator you will need the following experience:

  • An excellent team player with strong communication skills, with particular emphasis on telephone / verbal communication skills
  • A good degree of computer literacy is preferred including sound knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong administrative and data recording skills
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise work , clear agreed volumes and work to deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a close team
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
