Job Role: Installation Project Manager
Location: Manchester
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £35,000 Per Annum

Metalis is working in partnership with a large manufacturing company in Manchester who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Installation Project Manager on a permanent contract.

The Project Manager is a pivotal role within the business and is required to ensure that all none-standard and large project orders are progressed throughout the business successfully, on time, and installed correctly.Being involved in the project from order to completion, utilising information gained in previous projects to ensure future work is more productive and cost-efficient.

Job Duties:

  • Take ownership of bespoke and project orders
  • Organise and chair internal and external meetings to gather all information required for the project, meeting with clients and/or Site Contractors as required.
  • Maintain continuous communication with internal teams ensuring information is shared appropriately and efficiently.
  • Pre-empt any potential issues where possible, but react proactively and appropriately in a timely manner avoiding issues where possible
  • To manage / co-ordinate any project related site surveys prior to installation
  • To be a customer facing representative, on site during project installations
  • To manage / co-ordinate off-site installations, ensuring 3rd party installation companies complete pods to an agreed build schedule and level of quality
  • To manage / co-ordinate snagging/rectifications required after installation
  • To manage / co-ordinate any day 2 service issues or faults reported on site
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with external teams
  • To manage / co-ordinate on going product training with external teams
  • To travel overseas to conduct on-site training with local installation teams
  • Undertake any training required to help you perform your job to the best possible standard.
  • Develop competencies and technical skills focusing on design, detail, quality and engineering of pod products
  • To ensure all work carried is in accordance with current H&S standards
  • Perform any other related duties that are required from time to time

Job Requirements:

  • CSCS card
  • Passport + driving licence
  • Understanding of fabrication methods and material processing
  • Experience in site working
  • Used to working in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A good understanding of technical drawings
  • Customer facing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Hands on approach and practical skills
  • Availability to work away from home and out of hours
  • Can do attitude
  • Driven and goal orientated
  • Conscientious, selfless and collaborative approach to work
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good negotiator

Salary & Shift:

  • £35,000 Per Annum
  • 7am to 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday), 7am to 1.15pm (Friday)
  • Regular times when needed to be out on site and therefore hours may need to be adjusted to suit
