Are you an experienced 2nd/3rd line network Technician with knowledge on Servers, Infrastructure and Networking Architecture?

In this role you will be working closely alongside the Infrastructure Manager to help keep this institutes network running whilst maintaining the general upkeep of network architecture. Should you show exceptional skills in the position then there is scope for progression up to the band 6 pay role. You will be working mainly around the VMware cloud software service.

The ideal candidate is someone who has significant experience working with software such as VMware and other server backgrounds. Skills in Infrastructure and networking architecture are essential, experience within 2nd or progression into a 3rd line role would be beneficial to transitioning into this position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a 2nd/3rd line support professional to progress their way into a more specialist infrastructure position through specialist training and putting industry experience into practice.

The role:
* Maintain the institutes network systems
* General upkeep of servers and infrastructure
* Working with VMware to improve architecture

The person:
* Exposure to VMWare ESXi
* Networking Experience
* Wifi Experience
* Firewall Experience
* Telephony Experience
* Exposure to Active Directory Administration
* Experience with Office 365
