Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer. Become part of a team specialising in fail-safe, rapid, and innovative design and consultancy services customised for organisations. Their main area of expertise lies in the Defence and Security Sector, where they provide IT innovation projects, analysis, and consultancy services.

Main Responsibilities as an Infrastructure Engineer

• Maintain, improve, and safeguard multi-classification, virtualised collaboration, and development environments.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure colleagues to bolster 'Secure by Design' capabilities internally and across projects.
• Offer infrastructure support for public cloud SaaS offerings (Office 365) and project-based systems (public, private, and hybrid clouds) throughout their implementation and support lifecycles.
• Carry out maintenance tasks on infrastructure following change control procedures.

Experience & Skills Required

• Administration of Windows Server 2016+
• RedHat OpenShift
• Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)
• Proficiency in PowerShell
• Provisioning, maintenance, patching, and hardening of EUD (End User Device) including Autopilot.
