Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Analyst - 12 Month FTC

Devonshire Hayes have partnered with a fantastic organisation to help them secure an Infrastructure Engineer on a 12 month FTC. You will be tasked with the following -

  • Maintain all infrastructure topologies including but not limited to WAN, LAN, MPLS, WIFI, Internet, Servers, Storage and unified communication.
  • Create and execute a maintenance plan to ensure all infrastructure systems are kept up-to-date with security and software patches.
  • Ensure that appropriate security controls are deployed and maintained across our network and firewalls in conjunction with the IT Security Team.
  • Incident Management - responsible for technical troubleshooting. In the event of configuration changes required, must invoke the internal Change Management Process.
  • Support development and implementation of infrastructure initiatives/projects
  • Ensures accurate records are kept of infrastructure components, maintenance activities, network connections, accounts, and inventory by maintaining system documentation and the IT department knowledge base.
  • Respond to emergency outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Also, provide out of hours cover for technical escalations.
  • Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and maintain current knowledge of plan executables.

N.B. This client operate a hybrid working arrangement. 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
