As an Information Security Officer you will manage and maintain the Company`s Information Security Management Systems both for internal requirements and to support our customer solutions to ensure successful management of risk for both Ricoh and it`s extended services. Consult with external Customers looking to introduce an Information Security Management System, working in collaboration with Sales to progress opportunities through to chargeable consulting work.
Key Responsibilities include:
-To support the Senior Compliance & Risk Consultant in the implementation of the Integrated Management System with the responsibility for the subsequent management of the system to ensure the business is able to achieve external recognition as a leading organisation.
-Ongoing development of the ISO27001 Information Security Management System- especially for hardening IT security within our service offerings to ensure the business is able to achieve external recognition as a leading organisation.
-To coordinate and undertake internal and external audits of Information Security & Business Continuity Management Systems to ensure continued compliance and continuous improvement, and the effectiveness of management systems
-To support in the formulation of responses to customer tenders and questionnaires to enable both high level and detailed content to be submitted.
-To assist in the development and deployment of measures that will allow management to understand the current and predicted process performance levels.
-To undertake external auditing of Customers ISO systems as part of Customer support which will enable Customers to obtain / maintain accreditations in line with Ricoh`s own certification standards.
-To support the function in achievement of any strategic projects to meet departmental objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
In order to fulfil this position we require proven experience in maintaining and developing Management Systems including Quality, Information Security and Business Continuity. We would also like somebody who is a qualified internal auditor with up to date health and safety knowledge and a working knowledge of continual improvement tools such as PDCA. Excellent Communication & presentation skills, both written and oral are essential and the ability to influence at all levels as well as establish and maintain credibility with stakeholders, internal and external.
