Industrial Territory Manager: Cleaning Chemicals: Wales

Our client is a leader in auxiliary chemicals. They offer a range of products for multiple sectors; Industry, institutional, food and beverage, water treatment, transportation and automotive, building and construction, professional cleaning and maintenance and paper, safety and equipment.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Developing a client base within this new territory
  • Shape and implement sales strategies within specific customers to achieve growth

Exceed sales revenue targets

  • Exceed margin targets managing profitability by customer and product

  • WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Visit potential customers on your Territory
  • Build and sustain excellent customer relationships
  • Increase customer spend, identifying new lines and solutions
  • Achieve monthly sales and margin targets to ensure annual plans are achieved
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer records are kept, including presentations, meetings, contact reports, annual terms, pricing, NLF’s, etc.
  • Prospect on your area to win new business in line with KPI’s
  • Supports other departments where necessary, i.e., customer services, marketing, operations
  • Respond back to customer for any additional queries in a timely manner
  • Attendance at trade-shows when required
  • Provide customer training when required
  • Conduct product demo’s when required

PERSON PROFILE:

Essential

  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable sales experience in winning new business
  • Can-do attitude to "get the job done"
  • Hands on approach
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with good attention to detail
  • Good engagement with all stakeholders
  • Driving Licence
