Our client is part of a larger group of companies which include a code operator and an Internet Limited provider, with my client providing a range of services to these entities. This company designs, builds and maintains the network whilst also dealing with the sales, marketing and all customer support services to the network.

This company have been through a period of significant growth in the last 10 months with 100 hires across the business and continued growth planned for the next 12 months.

Job Description

This In-house Commercial Solicitor role will be joining a small Legal Counsel working for a non-client-facing company where you will be accountable for owning a broad and varied range of complex commercial legal matters consisting of:

• Ensuring best practices in corporate governance across the network operations
• Dealing with site acquisitions, advising on employment law
• Providing legal advice, analysis and counsel in relation to industry best practice and effective structures to manage legal and regulatory risk.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be to be a Qualified Solicitor between NQ - 2 years PQE. Experience working in non-contentious Commercial law is Desirable with experience of the above, any specialist experience in Construction or telecommunications and Commercial or Residential Property is highly desirable.

You will have:

• Excellent drafting skills and ability to analyse complex legal and commercial issues, develop strategies and propose commercial solutions to clients and colleagues
• Diplomatic and highly articulate: expert influencer and negotiator who communicates points constructively and succinctly
• Self-sufficient and proactive with sound business acumen, demonstrating ability to understand the core business issues and challenges
