To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident and passionate Immigration Solicitor with a strong understanding of immigration procedures and regulations. Other requirements for this role include:

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in immigration law
• Strong understanding of immigration procedures and regulations
• Experience handling corporate immigration matters, including sponsorship licenses and visa applications
• Knowledge of domestic immigration applications, including settlement status, leave to remain, ILR, and asylum cases
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Court of Appeal representation in immigration cases is advantageous
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme is desirable

Job role and responsibilities:

As an Immigration Solicitor, you will play a key role in our clients immigration practice, handling a diverse caseload of corporate and domestic immigration matters. Othre responsibilities for this role include:

• Corporate Immigration: Assist corporate clients with sponsorship licenses, visa applications, and compliance issues related to employing foreign workers on Tier 2 work visas, PSW visas, dependent visas, and other relevant categories
• Licensing Procedures: Guide companies through the licensing procedure required for sponsoring foreign workers, ensuring compliance with relevant immigration laws and regulations
• Domestic Immigration: Provide legal assistance to individuals on matters such as settlement status, leave to remain, indefinite leave to remain (ILR), asylum cases, and appeals, if necessary
• Court of Appeal Representation: Handle immigration cases at the Court of Appeal level, if required, providing representation and advocacy on behalf of clients
• Client Consultation: Conduct consultations with clients to assess their immigration needs, provide legal advice, and develop tailored immigration strategies
• Case Management: Manage a caseload of immigration matters efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met, and clients are kept informed throughout the process
• Compliance: Stay updated on changes to immigration laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices
