Title: Hygiene Manager
Shift/Working hours: To lead 24/7 Hygiene Operation
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of first class standards of hygiene service across the site,ensuring safe working practices and leading a safe working environment culture whilst ensuring that all colleagues within span of control are appropriately trained and fully competent.
The primary responsibilities of the role include leading hygiene iniatives and working closely with the SHE Manager with relevant health and safety initiatives, undertaking risk assessments and documenting safe systems of work, ensuring all tasks are conducted in accordance with all legislation together with all company, hygiene and H&S policies to ensure appropriate hazard/accident and incident reporting. Managing a hygiene buget, ordering and controlling stocks of hygiene consumables and chemicals ensuring they are stored, used, transported and rotated appropriately; working with suppliers to obtain most cost effective prices.
The successful candidate will be a competent and experienced professional with relevant qualifications coupled with proven experience of managing and leading a hygiene team, preferably within an FMCG environment and having experience of working to ISO, BRC and complaince standards.
