Hvac Engineer

A new opportunity has arisen for a HVAC Engineer to join a facilities contractor that specialises in service and reactive maintenance.

They are based in Leicester and their site work is mainly based within 50 miles of Leicester.

They offer both installation and servicing (PPM and Reactive) of all aspects of building services including all gas works, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning working as both Main Contractors and Sub-contractors for a wide range of clients within the Public and Commercial Sectors.

This role has come about due to growth and more business coming in from their contracts.

Salary = £16-18 per hour. This is a permanent role but engineers are paid weekly. Overtime is also available.

Duties:

We are looking for a self-motivated, engineer to join our existing team who is able to carry out the periodic maintenance, service and fault checking if required, of varying equipment on existing installations, which include Air conditioning systems, Ventilation Systems, Chillers and Air Source Heat Pump.

Out of hours / weekend works available as and when required by the site.

The applicant must be hard working, polite, able to work under pressure, be organised in their approach to the tasks given as well as deliver the services to the client to the highest standards within the timeframe given. The applicant should be able to work both independently or as part of a team and work within the current Health and Safety practices and Legislation.

Experience and skills required:

• Air conditioning/HVAC/Chillers Maintenance 2 years minimum experience (Required)
• Driving Licence (Required)
• C&G F-Gas 2079-11 Level 2 (Preferred but not essential)
• CSCS/Skill Card (Preferred but not essential)
• Be able to pass DBS Enhanced (we work with varying degrees within building occupying young and vulnerable persons)
