Role: Humanities Teacher
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a vibrant team at a coeducational secondary school in Newham. As a Humanities Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage and educate students in the fascinating realms of Geography, History, and Religious Education. Your passion for these subjects will ignite curiosity and encourage critical thinking, making a lasting impact on our students' academic and personal development.
Humanities Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Geography, History, and Religious Education.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
Humanities Teacher Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography, History, and Religious Education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • A commitment to promoting safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of all students.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude towards professional development.
