The Role: 

As the HSEQ Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with compliance in line with HSEQ requirements and our Integrated ISO Management System, supporting the HSEQ Manager with maintaining safety, quality and compliance standards across all departments.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can effectively deliver information to employees. This is a hybrid role consisting of work from home, site visits and in the Head Office, located in High Wycombe, two days a week. Due to the nature of the work, there is a greater flexibility in terms of working hours however some evening / night work is required as our sites operate 24/7. 

Main duties: 
  • Provide administrative support to the HSEQ Manager for Quality, Environmental & Health and Safety aspects. 
  • To assist to the HSEQ Manager in implementing the Health & Safety and Environmental Strategies that meet legislative requirements. 
  • Assist with the delivery of control measures and follow up to completion. 
  • Conduct internal audits including our suppliers where applicable.
  • Visit site locations, carry out audits and inspections. 
  • To support the delivery of the HSEQ strategy and to assist in achieving continuous improvement in HSEQ performance across the company.
  • Participate and contribute in all relevant HSEQ meetings. 
  • Develop auditing plan based on thorough research with the HSEQ Manager
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation ensuring all timed arrangements are adhered to. 
  • Maintain the documentation of all Non-Conformances and Corrective Action Reports.
  • Report problems/failures that may impact on the company and/or its clients to the HSEQ Manager.
Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel is essential to this role.
  • Experience of using a variety of Microsoft software packages especially Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of managing ISO systems, in particular ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 is essential and auditing experience is desirable.
  • A recognized Health & Safety and auditing Qualification is desirable.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Be a self-motivated individual with a willingness to support others when needed, working well in a team and individually.
