his is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to join our business unit which supports the multi-agency safeguarding arrangements in Hertfordshire. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised person, who can ensure consistent high levels of management. You will join a friendly, dedicated and inclusive support team.

We are actively recruiting for a Business Manager to support the Safeguarding Boards Business Unit (Adults) based in Stevenage.

The post holder will manage the workstreams of the Hertfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board, working with a wide variety of safeguarding professionals across the different agencies in Hertfordshire who have responsibilities for safeguarding adults.

You will manage and drive the sub-group workplans and safeguarding adults reviews. This under the Care Act.

The Business Manager will be expected to drive the work of board and support the HSAB Independent Chair to ensure priorities are met.

You will be working in a fast paced stimulating environment that would draw on and build your organisational skills, your ability to prioritise workloads in a relatively fast paced changing environment.

Your previous experience working in a, collaborative team is essential in this role as together the team will work towards achieving goals and objective.

You will be leading on certain workstreams, managing an active and busy administrator, working closely with colleagues and external partners and individuals within the community.

You will have in providing strong organisational and administrative skills, plus a knowledge of the Safeguarding Adults multi-agency arrangements.

The successful applicant will be competent in the of use of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
