An exciting opportunity to join a values-driven, not-for-profit organisation who are currently seeking a personable, capable HR Generalist, with strong recruitment experience and up to date employment knowledge, to join their close-knit team on a permanent basis.

Your New Role

In your new role, as HR Administrator, you will provide an effective HR and Recruitment service to the organisation, working alongside the HR team to support with a range of HR activity through the entire employee lifecycle, contributing to provide a high-quality service to both employees and managers.

As HR Administrator, you will support with multiple responsibilities including;

  • End to End Recruitment
  • Onboarding
  • Supporting & Guiding Managers regarding HR Policy & Procedure
  • HR Project Work
  • Providing Advice
  • Employee Relations support
  • Liaising with Payroll
  • Management of the HRIS & ATS Systems
  • Management of the central inbox

To be a success within this role, you will possess strong relationship building skills and possess the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels. You will be a strong generalist, and be able to operate in an advisory capacity, coming across as knowledgeable and credible.

You will be a friendly, relaxed HR professional with a 'common sense' approach, the ability to collaborate within a team and will possess a strong work ethic.

What You Will Need

  • Knowledge of and experience in managing the whole employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding and leaver processes.
  • Experience of using an HR Information System (HRIS) to store and manage employee data as well as creating and running reports.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage own time and prioritise effectively.
  • Able to build effective relationships quickly and effortlessly.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to influence a range of stakeholders through e.g. liaison, negotiation, discussion, reporting and presenting.
  • To be a proactive, problem solver.
