Are you a tech savvy, process minded administrator looking to break into HR, or someone looking to build on prior HR experience in an environment where you can get involved in a breadth of HR activities? Our purpose driven client is looking to bring an extra head on board for an initial 6 month period to support across a variety of areas as the new HR Director looks to refocus the HR offering. If there is a particular area of HR you are to keen get some exposure to, the team will endeavour to accommodate and ensure you are building valuable experience in the role.  

Reporting to the Senior HRBP, you will be tasked with providing administration and coordination support across the breadth of the employee lifecycle but most likely in relation to recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement and communications, training and HR systems & process.


There is an appetite within the function to look at optimisation of their processes and systems, including use of Sharepoint, so you can expect to be involved in supporting the assessment of their processes and identification of improvements. You will create new process flow charts and support any technical system changes or configuration that is required and writing of new instructional material to support any newly implemented ways of working.


As the organisation is going through a period of growth and change, you will likely be managing a variety of tasks at one time and will need to clearly communicate with stakeholders, manage time effectively and maintain confidentiality.


Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for individuals from general admin or HR admin backgrounds with an interest in process and systems, ideally available on short notice. You’ll be diligent and confident in your capabilities to pick things up quickly and will be able to travel to the office in Northampton on average twice a week.


The HR team are offering to support the successful individual’s development by offering exposure to areas of HR that the individual is keen to upskill so this really is a great opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their CV – and it is possible the role could be extended.
