We are looking for an experienced individual within a HR Officer role for a fantastic opportunity in the Birmingham area, near Quinton. The successful applicant must possess solid experience within a HR advisoror aHR Generalist role keen to work within an organisation which has a great purpose. This role is full time, initially a 12 to 15 months FTC and is hybrid.The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Offer advice to line managers and department heads in relation to recruitment, absence, sickness, and conditions of service and employment

  • Full involvement in the recruitment process on a multi-site basis including shortlisting, interviewing right through to on-boarding

  • Working with the Payroll team to assist with general payroll

  • Coordination of induction training for new and newly promoted employees including provision of a detailed handbook

  • Implementation of excellent sector awareness and legislation to ensure business-wide compliance

  • Leading pay reviews and companywide reviews

  • Management of all personnel projects as well as expert upkeep of personnel files using in-house systems

  • Involvement in payroll queries and changes

  • All other ad-hoc HR and personnel tasks including benefits, pensions and schemes

The successful applicant must be CIPD level 5 qualified and possess in-depth experience in all the above listed responsibilities. Ideally you will have worked within a professional services background and be used to working as part of a smaller team. You will be a diligent individual with strong stakeholder management and have the highest standards of professionalism.
