Our client is currently recruiting for a Data Protection Assistant, working two days per week in their glossy offices based in Birmingham city centre! This role is to join a leading tech provider recognised for their collaborative culture, innovation, and commitment to professional growth, joining their Information Security Team, providing operational support. Key Responsibilities: Supporting effective governance processes and helping keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. Helping safeguard sensitive information and support strong data protection practices across the organisation. Working with suppliers to ensure standards, risks and compliance requirements are being effectively managed. Contributing to initiatives that help protect the organisation from cyber threats and strengthen our security posture. Turning data and insights into clear, meaningful reports that support informed decision-making. Data Compliance Protection Assistant

HR &amp; Payroll Coordinator | Birmingham | Katie Bard is partnering with a well-established, international business in Birmingham to appoint an HR &amp; Payroll Coordinator. This is a newly structured role sitting within a small, close-knit UK HR function, reporting to the HR Business Partner and working closely with an international central HR team. This is a genuinely varied role, built for someone who wants payroll depth without losing the breadth of a true HR generalist position. This role is 5 days in office with free parking onsite in Birmingham city centre. Recruitment &amp; Onboarding You will coordinate recruitment from job posting through to offer, manage onboarding and run inductions for new starters. Act as a point of liaison across other offices on hiring activity. Employee Lifecycle &amp; Support You will manage absence, sickness and maternity tracking and reporting, support probation and offboarding processes. Respond to day-to-day HR queries from managers and employees, and provide administrative support on employee relations and grievance matters. Payroll &amp; HR Administration You will coordinate monthly payroll end to end, liaising directly with an external payroll provider, and hold solid working knowledge of SSP, P11Ds, P45s and statutory maternity pay. You will also manage contract creation and amendments, liaise with the pension provider, and keep HR records and digital personnel files accurate and audit-ready. Process &amp; Projects You will help audit HR processes for consistency, support policy updates, and contribute ideas for improving efficiency across HR systems. This role would suit someone who's worked in a legal or property environment before and understands the pace, precision, and discretion that comes with high-volume conveyancing work.
